Clear type delivers improved font display on your LCD monitor. Readability on CRT can also be some what improve. You know the differences in the below picture



Path : Start - Control panel -Display applet - Adjust Clear type text  from left.
           (OR) Run - " cttune.exe " ( in Start search ) 





Customizing the Power Button

Do you restart your computer more often than Shut down or do you want to change the settings of the Power button . 


Path : Right click on Start - Properties - Select Start menu tab /  change the power button action.

Customizing  Number of items  in Start menu and Jump Lists



Jump Lists. - one of the good features of Windows 7 even though it is a very small feature it is very user full.  It takes you right to the documents, pictures, songs or websites you turn to each day . 

      What you see in a Jump List depends entirely on the program. The Jump List for Internet Explorer shows frequently viewed websites.Windows Media Player 12 lists commonly played tunes. Is your Jump List missing a favourite? You can "pin" whatever files you like there.Jump Lists don't just show shortcuts to files. Sometimes they also provide quick access to commands for things like composing new email messages or playing music.


Path :   Right click on Start - Properties - Customize - Choose number of recent program to be shown in the start menu and the number of items displayed in the Jump List from the Start menu size section below.


We can create shortcut for any  programs it very simple and superb option. People who luv to navigate with Keyboard rather than mouse will  like it.

Want to view expanded ‘send to’ menu  or Open Command prompt  in any folder

 Yes  we can place the command prompt in any folder from now and before also : P 
  
And about the Send to Menu we can also expand the send to list here is how we can do it . 


Simple : All we have to do is press shift  when right clicking on the folder to get an expanded send to ->
and this where you will have the '  open command window here '  option.
